Art association ITU’s 2022 summer exhibition had ARCHEOLOGICAL THINKING as its theme. I created a room installation depicting a scene of a humanoid figure in a kind of self-study lab/room, in the process of building themself. Seated behind a desk, this faceless figure holds up a face and ”looks” at it, ponderingly. There’s also a basket filled with green, disembodied hands (going to hell in a handbasket?), chestfull of faces, odd selfies on the walls and a couple of spare skins hanging from a clothesline.
