The Event
Tapio Kotkavuoren elämä ja kuolema / The Life And Death of Tapio Kotkavuori
I was invited to play at book release event at Rosebud Books shop, Helsinki. As my album Gegendurchgangenzeit got listed in the soundtrack for the book, I played a tight 20 minutes set doing a variation of the album material. I told the audience to close their eyes ("there's not really anything to watch over here, just me behind a laptop") and let the soundscapes take them where it will. The feedback was wonderful and people reported getting visions, some only brealizing later while reading the book what the visions referred to. As you can see, I seem to have taken my own advice...
